Locally and woman-owned Viva Day Spa is thrilled to announce the opening of their third location at the new Rock Rose development at The Domain (11601 Rock Rose Avenue), which is slated for March 2016. Over its ten-year history Viva Day Spa has been recognized as the top day spa in Austin and awarded  “Best Place To Treat Yo’ Self” by The Young Chamber of Commerce at the 2015 Fave Awards, “Best Spa” by The Austin Chronicle for several years (2014, 2012, & 2011), “Best Spa” by Austin Monthly 2014, “Best Spa” at the 2014 Fave Awards, and “Austin’s Best Places to Work” by Austin Business Journal in 2015, 2013, & 2012.

“We’re so thankful to our guests and the Austin community for our incredible growth over the past decade,” said Viva Day Spa partner Laurie Aroch. “Rock Rose at The Domain is a perfect opportunity for us to expand to a thriving area in the city and continue to nurture our loyal clientele. Plus, we’ll be surrounded by other authentically Austin restaurants and shops in a lifestyle destination unlike any other in town.”

Designed by Michael Hsu Office of Architecture, the new space delivers a modern take on the warm, nature-inspired aesthetic guests have come to love at Viva Day Spa. Approximately 7,000 square feet, the Rock Rose space features two thoughtfully crafted levels designed to optimize the in-spa guest experience.

Features of the new spa include two infrared saunas, a dedicated natural nail area, several relaxation lounges, a feature heated salt wall that releases positive ions throughout the space, and a large curated retail space with hand-selected artisan gifts, jewelry, cosmetics, and premium hair care and skin care lines. The fourteen treatment rooms will serve as quiet retreat spaces, with no two-treatment rooms exactly the same. Guests can also reserve the private group relaxation lounge, specifically designed for spa parties and gatherings.

Viva Day Spa joins other Austin favorites like Sway, East Side King, Birds Barbershop, Dogwood, and Salvation Pizza at the new Rock Rose development. Featuring an art-infused streetscape bustling with visitors, Rock Rose will offer the charm and energy of South Congress, East Austin, and West Sixth Street with the added benefits of easy access and plentiful parking.

Viva Day Spa was founded in 2005 by partners Laurie Aroch, Maya Aroch, and Shannon Mouser with the idea that a first-class day spa should deliver the finest services for the mind, body, and spirit in an environment that is warm, relaxing, and – above all – unpretentious.
