Early-bird tickets on sale now. General admission ticket price increases May 1
The Breast Cancer Resource Center (BCRC) proudly announces its sixth annual fundraising gala, Art Bra® Austin, on Saturday, June 3, at the Austin Convention Center. This year’s event will showcase 61 pieces of wearable art to be modeled and auctioned, with all proceeds benefitting BCRC. Early-bird tickets for the event, which sells out every year, are on sale now at artbraaustin.org.
A truly inspiring celebration of the women who shine in the face of a life-altering disease, Art Bra® Austin brings together a community of artists, jewelers and craftspeople each year to design and construct original, beautiful art bras to be modeled by BCRC clients, all of whom are women diagnosed with breast cancer. Since its inception in 2012, Art Bra® Austin has raised more than one million dollars for the Breast Cancer Resource Center, helping BCRC achieve its mission to support and improve the lives of those touched by breast cancer by providing services and programs free of charge to its clients, regardless of circumstances.
“Art Bra® is undoubtedly one of Austin’s most theatrical events, and this year we’re excited to showcase our most impressive collection of art bras to date,” said Ray Anne Evans, BCRC’s Executive Director and former client. “This marks six incredible years for Art Bra® Austin, and every time we are amazed not only by the courage and strength of our fearless models, but the community’s unwavering support. Our dedicated sponsors and amazing artists who donate their time and talent are essential in making this event a transformative experience for our clients.”
Art Bra® Austin will take place on June 3, at the Austin Convention Center, 500 E Cesar Chavez St., Austin, Texas. Doors open at 6:00p.m. for cocktails, food service, and silent auction. The runway show and live auction begin at 8:00 p.m. From now until April 30, early-bird tickets for runway and floor reserved seating are on sale for $250 and early-bird general admission for $150. General admission ticket price increases to $200 on May 1. Tickets are available at http://artbraaustin.org/get-tickets.

About Art Bra Austin
Art Bra® Austin, now in its sixth year, is BCRC’s signature fundraiser. Every year, Austin’s talented community of artists, designers, and jewelers submit their original works of wearable art to be showcased by a dynamic group of Art Bra Austin models, creating an enchanting evening where everyone involved from the artists to the models and stylists donates their time and services. Approximately 60 to 70 pieces are selected from over 100 submissions to be offered for auction the night of the event. Top submissions are auctioned live during the runway show with winning bids as high as $8,500. For more information about this event and how to get involved, please visit www.artbraaustin.org.
About Breast Cancer Resource Center
